Social forum hope is an organization to fight against child poverty and child labor in Afghanistan. Our target is poor orphans, their fathers were killed in war and mothers are not able to support their families. As a result the families have to choice to send the children to work on the streets instead of going to school.
We started our operation from Kabul the capital. We have about 300 families in our list. The fathers of all of these families were killed in war. According to our policy we meet with the mothers of the children and offer them support. Our immediate support includes funds for food and shelter. Orphans should go to school and stop working on the street.
If the mother has a skill our organization will provide a job opportunity for her. If she needs training the organization will provide training. When training if over the organization will help her to find a job or start a home business. We continue our financial support until the family can support themselves.
In short we provide support to reduce child labor and child poverty in Afghanistan
Established in August 2016, Hope is an indigenous, government registered NGO. We undertake community and institutional development, civic education, education, drug control, human rights, anti-corruption and child protection initiatives. Hope is headquartered in the capital, Kabul, has offices in the provinces that provide national coverage. Hope builds people; while we understand that progress will be incremental due to universal lack of good educational opportunities, geographical isolation, the long term effects of war and continuing warfare, we are consistent in our efforts.
Our first priority to stop Child Labor and give education
We help orphans by good food, shelter and other ways
We support destitute families due to the war
Never stop doing little things for other. Sometimes those little things occupy the biggest part of their hearts.
